I was just running Scarlet Monastery with my friend, and I have no idea what rule I violated to get permanently banned.

Appeal an account or character ban. Open a topic and a Game Master will review it.

I was just running Scarlet Monastery with my friend, and I have no idea what rule I violated to get permanently banned.

Dear GM and Support Team,
I am a legitimate World of Warcraft player with only one account. I have never used cheats, bots, or any third-party software. I have never engaged in account sharing, boosting, power-leveling, or RMT.
On the day of the ban, I was playing with a real-life friend. We were doing quests together and then entered Scarlet Monastery. After we killed the boss, my friend went to the bathroom and used the follow function for about 10 seconds. Suddenly, my friend’s account was suspended, and immediately after, my account was permanently banned.
I had no idea this normal party play would be considered a violation. I have always followed the game rules and have no intention of breaking them. I believe this is a system misjudgment.
I sincerely ask you to carefully review my account data, login history, and in-game behavior. Please give me a second chance and lift the permanent ban. I will read the rules more carefully and play strictly in accordance with the terms in the future. Thank you very much for your understanding and help.

I am a legitimate player with only one account. I have never used cheats, bots, or third-party software, nor have I engaged in account sharing, boosting, or RMT.
Before the ban, I had been playing with a real-life friend for a long time. He reached level 30 using the follow function in normal play, with no warnings or penalties at all. The only difference this time is that I was higher level and joined him for one run of Scarlet Monastery. After the boss fight, my friend went to the bathroom and used follow for less than 10 seconds. Immediately after, his account was suspended, and mine was permanently banned.
I had no idea this kind of normal party play with a friend would be considered a violation. I have no intention of breaking the rules or gaining unfair benefits. I understand you need to fight bots and exploitative boosting, but legitimate players helping each other level up should not be treated differently or permanently banned without warning.
I believe punishment should be graduated: warning, 1-day ban, 7-day ban, 1-month ban, then permanent ban, based on severity. In my case, I have no prior offenses, received no warning, and was given no explanation. A single innocent, normal group play resulted in an immediate permanent ban. This is extremely unfair to regular players.
I kindly ask you to review my account data, login history, and in-game behavior carefully. Please apply a lighter punishment for a first-time, minor, unintentional offense instead of a permanent ban. I love World of Warcraft and will follow all rules strictly in the future. Please give me a second chance and lift the permanent ban. Thank you for your fair consideration.
