2x exp only reason i started on ta when joining late, it saved me 1/2 the time investment to start the game and get past the sad tutorial we all done 5933825 times.Rallo wrote: Thu Sep 17, 2026 4:46 pm Just my 2 cents, Tel'Abim also had a really low pop. The boosted rates only made it worse imo. Since we already have permanent rested exp bonus(on top of WoW not being hard to get 60 quickly in the first place) if you double that there will be nobody below 60 and anyone coming to the server will be alone, which will cause them to most likely leave. It's rough while the pop is low though, I get that.
I really hope they keep it as is, take care of the DDoS, and wait out the initial hype of Forever, which I am pretty sure is gonna have a rapid, large population decline like SoD did.
Coming to Tel'Abim late was a terrible experience, there would be decent sized influxes of players but because of the 4x exp people would fly through the levels so there was no leveling population which ensured the server never gained traction.
It was one of the only things about TWoW that I thought was legitimately bad
You joking right?Rallo wrote: Thu Sep 17, 2026 4:46 pm Just my 2 cents, Tel'Abim also had a really low pop. The boosted rates only made it worse imo. this must be a troll post if u got into telabim super late you just got freeloot knew a dude who got his friend a full set of t3 kingsfall ad gresil within 2-3 weeks. pvp server needs xp rate incentives for new players to join every time someone asks about the pop bg pops etc and you tell them how it is they go to the pve server with 4k if kestrel doesnt make the pvp server 2x xp and add other incentives to draw new players its just gonna end up dying and hes gonna shut it down and merge it into the pve server.Rallo wrote: Thu Sep 17, 2026 4:46 pm Just my 2 cents, Tel'Abim also had a really low pop. u dont play on the pvp server we got like 350 max active players rn peak 500ish we need fresh blood here and you get that with incentives being vehemently against this principle is just strangling the server in the crib so to speak and is easy for you to say with the pve having 4k people on it. not to mention the fact wow forever is launching which will likely draw more players away from both servers and reduce the influx of new players these incentives need to be implemented now rather then keep on feet dragging and offering empty promises.Berdal wrote: Sat Sep 19, 2026 3:51 pm Although I'm strongly against this suggestion, I suggest circling back and re-evaluate this suggestion a few months after the DDOS attacks have subsided.
