Ugh, I only mentioned that because the OP literally wrote 'a permanent ban'
TBH 2 week ban is not enoughKestrel wrote: Sun Sep 20, 2026 5:02 am Given you have received a formal warning and 5 mutes (slowly escalating from 5 minutes to 24 hours), I think a ban was the obvious next step.
The specific line that triggered this ban was "Hitler was more correct tha 99% of politicians today ngl". This is an obvious violation of the chat rules.
Yes, hopefully they all were. It's hard to keep track of everyone that wants to use world chat as their political platform but they do routinely get muted and they do routinely come here and complain about it.Teafuse1999 wrote: Sun Sep 20, 2026 10:40 am The only thing that was against the TOS was bringing up politics, but that was the main topic at that point, so you might as well mute all those people as well to keep it fair.
This thread has basically proven my original point. I never denied breaking the politics rule; I questioned the moderation process. Nowhere in the rules does it say five mutes automatically lead to a gameplay ban, yet everyone keeps arguing against points I never made.Defiant wrote: Tue Sep 22, 2026 7:58 pm I just want to be on record saying that I fully approve of this ban, this guy is constantly in world chat always trying to push the envelope, always trying to create tension and "troll" people with offensive shit that is clearly against the rules. It seems like he was given multiple warnings and chances and still doesn't even really understand why he was banned.
I'm not some snowflake, I'm actually extremely opinionated politically but I don't spread that shit on a private server world chat because it isn't the time or place.

The fact that something against the rules was the main topic is part of the problem, right-- and lets cut the shit buddy because you're constantly doing this crap. You're one of the reasons politics ends up becoming "the main topic".
You know what you're doing. You know it's against the rules. Stop playing dumb.
Because that's not an explicit rule, I'm sure there are probably cases where someone is muted a dozen times without being banned because they're not saying Adolf fucking Hitler is better than 99% of politicians lmao. Like it's clearly a very antagonistic and loaded statement with a lot of implications.Teafuse1999 wrote: Sat Sep 26, 2026 9:56 am Nowhere in the rules does it say five mutes automatically lead to a gameplay ban,
I'm not trying to dogpile or kick someone when they're down but to be honest man the only thing this thread has really proven is that you don't get it, and that's kind of crazy to me. I mean where have you been spending your time online that praising ol' Adolf is treated kindly? You're acting like they're the weird ones for shutting down that sort of talk when that's pretty much just the standard response wherever you go. I don't even feel too strongly about it, but like, yeah as server hosts they kind of have to regulate that sort of shit right? They shouldn't have to babysit us. Five mutes really should get the message across.
They shouldn't have to dangle a ban in front of you to get you to stop behaving like a troglodyte.Teafuse1999 wrote: Sat Sep 26, 2026 9:56 am Had I simply been told, “Your next violation will result in a ban,” I obviously wouldn't have risked it.
