Banish twinks into their own BGs

This has never been touched upon on twow, but everyone EXCEPT twinkers themselve will agree on this. You have to seperate them from the normal BGs. Many enjoy the BGs to lvl up and it's ruined instantly depending on match size on how many twinks show up. At late night 5 v 5 WSG matches one is already enough to shift all favour to either side.

Please add this feature, it's quite simple honestly. Anyone at the decimal +9 lvl for each bracket who has his xp gain turned off, that's almost an auto flag for this toon to be a twink, make him not being able to queue in normal BGs anymore and I guarentee you 95% of the entire playerbase who participate in BGs will welcome this change.

Seething twinkies don't need to reply with their stupid arguments why it should stay in place, nobody likes you. Infact me personally I don't even like to be carried by twinks this way, every win with them on my side just feels wrong.

Remember on twow when they announced the shutdown? the first reply was 'PvP update when?' lol

edit: I just want to add to this as this has been now my ingame expirience on octo sofar. I have been in every bracket from the beginning, as I like to gain xp with a mix of solo questing, dungeons and also BGs. I tend to queue WSG and AB once I'm at +4 or +5 from the decimal, so to appear less of a BG leecher who just hopes for easy wins by getting carried. Back on twow this was a valid method and lots did lvl up by doing BGs frequently. Not one single thorn gorge which has it's own issues (no associated rep and marks mostly)

But I have to say that here on octo each new bracket has become worse, 50-59 Arathi Basins are currently suffering the most because of the twinks. On twow it was less of an issue because you would have constantly full 15v15 Arathi Basins, but here it's just a sad shitshow, were they close after the 5 minute timer because some who join (me included unless I really want to drag it out) just downright leave and the queue is simply kept alive by randoms who want to try it out only for them to be chewed and spit out by one or two twinks. I encourage the devs to take a look while these matches are live. I would argue that if the twinks were seperated from the normal crowd we would have a much healthier pre 60 BG scene right now. There are 2-3k players on nzoth in prime times right now, we should have full BGs in all brackets constantly, simply because of the fact they are a good alternative to other xp gain methods, alongside getting the respective BG rep and marks early on.

It's just a bit sad because I see this great potential were twow left of for it to be picked up again. I would wish atleast for more community polls like the one we had about the money trading.

You would be surprised at how many twinks prefer all twink bgs. But the problem is this brings in the slippery slope of normalizing stats in bgs. After all what is the difference between a lvl 60 who isnt geared vs a fully geared 60 compared to a quest leveller and a twink? What if someone has slow and steady and is just farming gold by fishing in STV since lvl 10 and leveling exclusively in dungeons and quests that give good gear joins a BG? Cuz thats how I level when I play. Even in classic I had an epic 2h sword which I enchanted with fiery and full SM gear with a few enchants like minor speed and 100 hp and +7 agi and 10 to all resists by lvl 39. Was I a twink even though that's how I chose to level my character?

do not seperate twinks from normal players, just fix the cross faction system to always place players on a random team, making it less stacked and fair. we all know alliance on average lose more, so if you want to make bgs fun and competitive (not just a cruise for horde and stomp for ally) make it a true solo queue experience like mobas and every other multiplayer game in existence.

I'll stand by my opinion that we should not have cross-faction BGs (that would be in direct conflict with the feel of classic and essence of PvP), but rather enable cross-realm queueing.

It would also incentive and reward players to pick the "underdog" (i.e. minority) faction. Thus improving faction-balance in the long run.

EDIT: To contribute more directly to the thread, and leave a constructive comment on the subject of twinking. In a world with cross-faction BGs enabled, just use a internal team distribution algorithm to form teams based on rating/honor. So teams are balanced around skill/experience. Complete randomness would also be fine though.

Just make it impossible to queue for a BG if you have exp gain disabled.
I don't know how this is even a discussion. Twinking provides a fun play-style for a small minority at the cost of straight up deteriorating the game experience for the vast majority of players and thus harms the server/community.
