I think my second mute was in error. I never heard from anybody in chat about it, nor any gm. I just got an automated message about a slur and a 24 hour mute. I wasn't trying to offend anybody I was defending my guild mate by saying "My favorite guildy is a tranny". Again i wasn't being derogatory at all I was literally defending them. Thank you for your consideration. (I would also note I didn't attempt to bypass any chat filters, primarily because I genuinely didn't know there was one for that word)

1. This isnt a public space its private octo space where they are allowd to make their own rules, this isnt limitting ur freedom of speech
2. Freedom of speech doesnt mean freedom of consequences of what u say.
3. A word is either considerd a slur or not, if used positive doesnt make it not a slur (americans in general dont understand this concept)

Who mentioned freedom of speech here? You can't just copy and paste arguments you watched on the internet to a discussion, many times it won't have anything to do with it. That's NPC behavior!

To your third point. That's why I hope that we act as the reasoning humans we are (or some of us are). There's context, there's nuance to things. Let's actually use our brains to resolve that.
