How to Fix 90% of issues
Update check failed: Cannot parse update info from latest.yml: Reinstall Launcher from website
Cant Access website: Use VPN
Error: aria2c exited with code 18: Permissions issue, launch with administrator
AntiVirus popup: Add exemption to octowow folder in Windows Defender
Can’t connect to server: Change reamlist.wtf to be play.octowow.st instead of octowow.st
Launcher keeps reverting realmlist when changed: Launch directly through wow.exe

Also make sure to run in cmd prompt: ipconfig /flushdns it might help.

Also if none of the above works but you can get into the game, use a VPN

If you don't want to use a VPN:
Network and Internet Settings --> Ethernet/Wifi (w/e you use for your connection) --> DNS Server Assignment, click on Edit --> Click on IPv4 and in the Preferred DNS box, type in 1.1.1.1, and make sure DNS over HTTPS is On (Generally automatic is fine).

Then click save and close the Settings menu. Octowow's host is blocking certain ISP's/Regions so this is a quick workaround for most, otherwise a VPN is the only other option if the DNS change doesn't work

pretty sure you can just login, you dont need to get the email for the account to be active, if you can post on the forums im assuming your game account should be active.

I'm stuck in "connected" phase and not retrieving character list then straight up disconnected for 2 days now. I'm from the Philippines and it was fine a couple of days ago. It would be cool if you can inform us if we're not allowed to use your service. We're just thankful we got to experience WoW again through your efforts.

Ive tried all those things and i still get redirected to the realmlist, im pretty clueless at this point what the issue is, since i can enter the game on a different location in my village, with a different IP, same providor, same virusprotectionsetup, does anyone have an estimate idea what the issue might be for me?

Hello guys,

I'm here to make a recommandation for my dead character Raztacanne, Shaman Troll lvl 11 after i kill Fizzle
After that i pulled a little warlock orc to take fire emblem medallion, the ddos issue is occured at 7:30-45AM or 8:00AM
so because i'am very frustrated (thanks to Ravencraft server) i deleted my character and recreate it, but i passed 3 hours to level up him 1 to 11.
Can i have my character back please

I was doing the shaman water totem quest the last part for the water septa, I was waiting for the drop of the corrupt manifestation's bracer it did not drop since i was doing this quest, tried to look for some other options in reddit done already but still same results no drop. Already identified the problem it was the raid quest of seprentbloom I abandoned it and the water totem appeared on my quest log and I can already progress the quest. Have a Good day! just disregard my post earlier.
