N'Zoth as Normal instead of RP

Hello.

I think the idea for this new server is great, but I was wondering. Why is the main server, N'Zoth, marked as normal and not as RP, as it was on original Turtle Wow? Meaning.

Is it because the server will not be so Roleplay and Lore accurate as Turtle was, or is it just something temporary? What are the plans moving forward?

And maybe for another thread entirely but. Why is hardcore a different server instead of been merged as it was in Nordanaar? Is it because of technical limitation, or is the plan keeping them separated?

The more servers there are, the more fragmented the community will become, which is not healthy specially at the beginning of servers.

This is just to more clearly differentiate it from the Hardcore server. We do hope to support a strong RP community here and are in the process of responding to a few RP GM applications even!

Is that confirmation that it will change in the future?

I know is just a silly flag on the realm selection tab but I strongly believe one of the reasons TWoW had such a strong sense of community was because of RP been at the center of the experience (loosy, as name and participation was not enforced, but still, it would be good to know people can build knowing their RP events would be protected).

While we encourage any and all ideas on how we can promote and support RP on our server, we don't think we will be considering changing the label on the server type in the near future

As stated above. RP is just a label! I wouldn’t get too tied up here! Instead encourage and set events in the community discord! Ad a tag to the guild like < RP Nebula> so people know it’s. An RP guild! Promote addons that encourage RP. The thing about RP is it can be done anywhere and any time.

A big draw for me as a new player coming to Turt was the fact that the main server was marked as (Rp), having the same for N'zoth will act as a great draw for new players looking to tell some stories once the beta phase ends.

At least mark it as RP on the main page of the site like "Normal (RP)"... And your hardcore server is marked as role-playing, which is misleading.

IMO the octo wow team should only do one server there's not enough players right now. Just give warmode for pvp and HC options
