Polling The PvE Server Regarding PvP Is Always Going To Fail

G'day, I know a bunch of you from PvE on my toons (Mayhem and Gorgoroth) back before PvP dropped. Since then I've pretty much exclusively played on PvP (Living Dead, Mutilation, & Pestenoire). Before Octo I was on TWoW where I mained on Tel'Abim. I think like many of you I was hoping for a nearly 1v1 reproduction of the server in TWoW, however, the reality is that it's been markedly different and as a result of that we've seen a steady decline in the playerbase from the first couple of weeks. Honestly, part of the problem with the death of the server has been polling the PvE realm regarding what happens over here on PvP. Why are we entrusting the future of this realm with players that actively dislike what's happening on PvP? How is that fair? I think back to when the community was polled regarding cross-realm battlegrounds. Post of the PvE playerbase don't even use battlegrounds and yet they're responsible for killing BGs during the levelling brackets over in PvP? It's an odd choice.

Additionally, the Tel'Abim XP rates were 2X (increased further with use of rested XP with tents or taverns). Part of what is deterring players from joining the PvP realm is the miniscule amount of levellers currently playing. If we could get some movement in the realm, create an event out of the intriduction of the new XP rates, we'll see the return of some of the players that abandoned it due to its relative inactivity. Sure, there are some twinks hanging around (I'm looking at you, Son) and I've grouped with some other players but for the most part it's awfully quiet. The ongoing meme in world chat is "dad server", lmfao. We really need to bring Y'Shaarj back in line with Tel'Abim and how that played, and we need to start polling the PvP realm EXCLUSIVELY regarding its own future. I loved TWoW and I love Octo, and more than anything I just want to see my home realm thrive.

Everytime we ask for 2x exp on pvp server because alot of pvp orriented people dont wanna do a 3week tutorial. Pvers come and cry we cant have 2x because fomo of pve not having it. We are neglected more then on twow while devs stated they woupdnt neglect pvp server here. Unlike pve we cant multibox lvl and can get ganked, bgs and dungs hardly happen(during lvling). Why are we hellbent on chasing pvp crowd away, instead of embracing its the only layerless classic pvp server in existance atm, and catering to the people and makingnit flourish?

Separate approaches and directions are 100% needed for both servers. What works for one playerbase won't always work for the other. Telabim routinely suffered from this problem and I genuinely hope yshar doesn't follow.
