OctoWoW no longer recognizes addons – game won’t start after a fresh install

Ever since the DDoS attacks started in August, I’ve been experiencing several issues with the game: inability to connect, crashes, disconnections every 10 minutes, extremely slow loading when connecting to the server, and lag spikes exceeding 9,000 ms.

These issues were more or less manageable, but now the game has stopped recognizing my addons.

I performed a thorough cleanup to remove every single trace of OctoWoW from my PC before reinstalling it.

After approximately 9 fresh installations, I’m giving up.

Even with a completely fresh installation, with no addons, mods, or anything else installed, I get this error, which prevents me from playing.

I’m looking for help because it’s been almost three months since I’ve been able to play properly.

Has anyone experienced the same issue or found a solution? Any help would be greatly appreciated.


Ps: I tried with a fresh game, with nonaddons or anything else too
Pps: I tried to do the ‘delete patch 5 ‘ etc already too

Patch-5.mpq seems to bo corrupted. Try again to verify your files if u haven't. Or maybe delete it completely and let the launcher download it again.
