Possible bug: Fledgling Chillwind and Chillwind Chimaera

These two mobs have an issue regarding looting/skinning.

Sometimes (it happens frequently) when they die the skinning icon appear but when you try to skin them the message "Creature must be looted first" show up on the screen, but they can't be looted either. I've tried using the regular Skinning Knife and the crafted Survival Skinning Knife but I get the same result.

It makes the quest https://octowow.st/db/?quest=4809 almost impossible to complete. I've managed to loot 2 horns from some 30+ kills

Edit: There might be something about using spells that causes them to enter this un-lootable/skinnable state because if I wand them to death instead of using Mind Flay then there seem to be no issues at all.
