Roadmap is way too rushed.

Hear me out. Assuming that TODAY is the release of a new server, historically Phase 1 (MC/ONY) should be released at the proposed roadmap for BWL. @Kestrel I strongly urge and advise you consider pushing back the roadmap. We only just opened up the signups to the masses and more time should be given to these new players to level, then prepare. Also keep in mind that the BWL that we have on Turtlewow is considerably more difficult than vanilla BWL.

For me, I am ready whenever for the proposed roadmap. However, it is unfair to all the new players and would ruin their progression experience. I know you don't want MC to drag out too long, but is prioritizing beta testers really what we want to do instead of prioritizing the general masses?

Agreed. We only just opened signups and with the release of the roadmap, many more players are going to start flowing in over the coming weeks. This is only going to make people feel pressured to rush through leveling in order to not fall behind. I think phase 2 should start on Oct 1st instead of the planned phase 3.

I think the listed phases should be, at a minimum, extended a month each and have the middle raids added between.

MC>ZG>BWL>ES>AQ20/40>Timbermaw>Naxx>K40 (assuming TH goes between Naxx and AQ instead of Naxx and K40)

Could be 1.5 or 2 months between each of these for best results imo

BWL is coming way too fast. Most people didnt even start raiding MC yet. And summer vacations are starting soon

I gotta +1 this, there's so many cool items that are made inconsequential with the release of BWL. I really like Dungeon Gear, and the longer it lasts & stays relevant the better! WoW is honestly best enjoyed as slow burn, I'd say focus more resources on the PvP Server or Endgame Dungeons. I know there's a pressure to want to release more content for all of the characters that are hitting endgame, but the state of the game with MC being the current top power level allows for a lot of interesting interactions that would be lost if we move too fast.

Considering that signups were opened permanently this week, we have a literal horde of lowbies who are just trying to level in peace, reach max level and start raiding MC. This roadmap and the BWL release in general feel way too catered towards already established 60s who have been raiding every lockout for the past month.

Please consider pushing it back to give the lowbies a fair chance at being on the same playing field as established players!
