Poll: Should a 2xp rate be implemented on the pvp realm?

Rather than continuing to debate whether 2x XP would help or hurt the server, why not give it a try and see what happens?

If there are still questions about how many actually want this on the pvp realm, we could always use the in-game pollsters. The one in this thread isn't definitive proof of a majority but I also dont think it should be totally discounted either.

I supported permanent 2x xp but even a 30 day trial of optional 2x (while keeping 1x available for those who prefer it) could be used as a test run to monitor player numbers, activity and retention to see whether it actually makes a positive difference.

I'm fully aware that there are concerns about optional 2x xp hurting the leveling journey but for the pvp realm specifically I think something different than the pve realm is very much needed and wanted to keep it growing. 2x xp would be a good start imo.

I genuinely hope the devs continue the pre ddos traditions of fireside chats, polls and community input so we can work together on building and preserving a stable thriving community.

we are throwing an bonus EXP event starting now, and ending on Sunday November 1st at 00:01. EXP rates will be boosted per realm

2x for Y'Shaarj
1.5x for N'Zoth
1.25x for C'Thu

A few new people joined guild because of 2x event. We got lots of guildies leveling their alt now. Considering nobody but one person promoted realm on wowserver I'd say thats pretty good. This server does no marketing for obvious reasons, considering also this was announced today/yesterday its good. 2x event honestly does fuck all compared to perma 2x. 2x for one week then its back to misery again.

Kestrel stated in a other post that exp rate for yshaarj might be adjusted/looked at if our pop still needs it in a month, so with wow F hitting all we can do is pray it comes back as perm/regular events in a month time.
