This has been addressed. Multiple times. This is not to benefit the PVE server. If you can still repeat that nonsense after everything that's been said by the developrs you have a learning disability.

I know exactly what intensions are behind merging battlegrounds between realms, don't teach your father how to make kids. In theory the reason is simple: make battlegrounds more accessible to everyone. But have you asked yourself if that goal has been fulfilled on Octo? Did everyone benefit from this change? PvE realm absolutely yes. For PvE realm battlegrounds will pop more often. For PvP realm, too, if we assume everyone there tolerates cross-faction BGs then it's win-win for everyone. But not everyone on PvP realm wants to play with cross-faction enabled. Here lays the problem you ignore.

PvP realm was promised not to have cross-faction ever by Turtle WoW. Now this promise is broken and question arises: was that intentional?

This isn't Turtle WoW. We don't have the population of Turtle WoW. Why are you even bringing up a server that doesn't exist anymore? Like come on. Let's talk about the here and now. Let's talk about reality. Let's talk about how small the PVP population is and how horrible the queue times for PVP content is on the PVP server.

This thinking is erroneous. Is Octo WoW successor of Turtle WoW and continuator of its legacy? Yes. Then, such fundaments should never be changed. Horde vs Alliance is the core identity of PvP realm.
I'm disgusted that you don't pay respect to the server the defined current server.

This was done to benefit the PVP server and for absolutely no other reason. Stop repeating the nonsense about it being to benefit the PVE server. Our queues were fine, yours were horrible and so broken that people were quitting the server and citing the hour long queues as the reason why they were quitting.

Where did I write that the idea of cross-realm BGs was to benefit PvE server? I only wrote that it was the ultimate result. You misunderstood what I wrote which is funny because at first you accused me of having learning disability.
Also, you assumed I'm from Y'Shaarj. No! I'm N'Zoth player, always was on PvE realm even on Turtle and I haven't played on PvP realm.

If we can't have an honest discussion about this, you people will just be ridiculed and treated like the children you're behaving as. If you people need to incessantly lie and spam the forums, maybe what you support isn't actually worth supporting. Maybe you being so stubborn that you refuse to accept cross faction BGs to the point that you would let the entire PVP server die means that you're a stupid person that should have absolutely no say in how the server is run. Expanding on that-- what are your credentials buddy? What servers have you run? Why are you so confident in your opinions? Where is that confidence coming from?

I assume that you are talking about someone else, not me, about that lying stuff. I'm honest forum user. I had over 1000 posts on Turtle forum and I think this forum would be much better place if people wouldn't lobby for things that only benefit their own interest instead of common good. Sometimes I take data from my head and people correct me but I always thank them and stick to true data.

About credentials... I used to run my local vmangos server where I built some custom content in Alterac Valley. I migrated post from Turtle forum so you can still read it here https://octowow.st/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1605. Who knows, maybe we will see something from this on Octo one day.

Honestly it's genuinely impressive how consistently the PVP community here are liars. You guys are so insanely dishonest that I don't even know how to react.
