PvP gear should come out with BWL, as it did on Ambershire

As the poll shows most players agree with this. The reason is simple - gear progression, a different gameplay experience achieved trough stat variations. Both things necessary, getting gear is a large part of the process - imagine being denied raid gear, vast majority would have quit the game a long time ago without upgrades

PvP gear being overpowered in PvE concerns - Turtle wow is not designed with the concept of raids being difficult (everything pre kara 40). A lot of new ''overpowered'' gear/class changes were added for Molten Core phase already. If the gear is overtuned for a certain class role it can be nerfed, for DPS it is not.

Kudos on xrealm ques - hoping to see more PvP content as turtle wow was planning (open world too)

PS add item crate option for level 60 mark turnins - its a great change and shouldnt be available to lower levels only

Dont see there being a high probability of poll cheating, ask the PvPer's in game you will hear the same. As an active PvP player (Weepingbaby) everyone i spoke to agrees, and also agrees that if there is no steady flow of upgrades it can be detrimental to pvp playerbase. We need stability in the upcoming period (WoW forever release)

Time gating the epic set makes no sense when you take into consideration how expensive it is. Assuming you hit the honor cap every weeks, it'll take about two months to grind out the full set. Assuming the AQ20 patch comes out in March, it'll be May before anyone will have access to the full set. BWL will have been out for 7 months at that point. Raiders are going to dominate PvP for the foreseeable future.

Question is, why weapons is to be released but not sets?
In terms of imbalancing PvE weapon might have far greater impact than sets with no hit rating and poor set bonuses. I would rather like to have sets now and weapons in Jan (strictly for PvP purpose in my case).

True, tanks dont have problems with survivability in BWL. So the weapons are actually the most impactful thing for players (who didnt get any raid weapons yet), most impactfull thing overall

Yeah, by the time people grind out enough honor for the epic PvP set, raiders will be running BGs with full AQ40 gear. They will be running BGs in full T2 months before that. So realistically PvP-focused players like me will never be able to catch up with raiders, which runs counter to the reason the Twow devs revamped the PvP gearing system in the first place.

The Twow team had bigger plans for PvP, too. They were going to create world PvP events and another set to compete with top raid gear, but they were shut down before they could do that. So for the foreseeable future we're going to be stuck with T2-equivalent PvP gear that won't be available until raiders have access to T3 gear. Very unfair.

Rather than time gating the epic PvP set, they should consider making it unusable in PvE until the AQ40 patch. That way BWL won't be impacted by PvP gear, but PvP-focused players won't fall behind raiders in PvP.
