Launcher and realmlist issues

Launcher says failed to reach update server but according to the text under that i would be able to launch local version 1.18.1 (7272) Is this something that works and if so is there a way to get ahold of this version?
Also can anybody tell me what the realmlist is?

One of the GMs posted in the In-Game chat not too long ago.
They are aware of the Launcher issue and are working on it right now

also, i tried running the twow live version with said realmlist but gives me an error upon loading into the world - something about deleting an interface XML folder

Update: now the issue is 1: the trojan that is in one of the mods and 2/3 Update check fail along with Java script error ill post the screenshot, anyone else recognize theese error-messages?

My launcher displayed a long error message just like Anton's above me, and when I pressed the update button, it deleted addons folder and wow.exe, possibly mods/tweaks too, so I can't run the game directly. Any workarounds, or waiting for the launcher update is the only option now?

I am experiencing the same Javascript Error, and the "Trojan" pop ups for the mods is starting to really sketch me out.

Lol, everything is just completely fkd. I'm getting massive walls of errors when trying to log into the forum, the launcher is dead, and wow.exe has been deleted. Did you guys get hacked or something

I mean it is very early on in develepment so theese issues are not out of the ordinary but at the same time i would really like an official explanation from the team regarding mods injected with trojan32 because as a technical noob who doesnt know better my mind wanders to something like "if this mod is the same mod they used on turtle then that means someone put a trojan there because i have never found a trojan when loading vanilla fixes for Turtle"

The thing is that i find myself wanting OctoWoW to be the real deal so much that i give maybe too much benefit of doubt towards the unknown team behind it. My gut feeling is still positive so i hope the team prove my gut feeling right and please dont fry our computers in the process This dev team really could create something solid and warm like Turtle did if they did it the right way and without poking the bear more than necessary.

Got same problem. And Trojan errors while download, after check mods dxvk and other.
