I did not play on TurtleWow, if there are existing mechanics that solve this issue, then this thread will be invalid.
In short, as a soon-to-be Warlock I am certainly not looking forward to manually summon each player, 1 by 1.
I think the Ritual of Summoning that was implemented later in WoW makes a lot of sense; you still rely on Warlocks to get the job done (unlike using the Summoning Stones), while being a lot more convenient for everyone. I don't think anyone craves shard farming.
After all, the Warlock changes page already includes the Soulwell Ritual, so the change above would follow the same philosophy.
