World Bosses

Are there plans to reimplement summonable world bosses? At the moment it seems like the item to start the quest drops, but the item that drops off mobs do not yet drop from their respective mobs.. i.e. rite of resurrection drops, but there is no way to obtain blue dragon essence because they do not currently drop off any mob, even though the item technically exists.

I would imagine that it's part of the plan as these bosses and items are present in the database.
