Meeting/Summoning Stones - Teleport to Dungeon

Hey team. I realise this is a classic-ish experience, but was wondering what the stance is on teleport to dungeon via summoning/meeting stones?

The classic experience had no function for this, and TBC brought in the ability for multiple party members to summon others.

I feel that 2 members having to travel to a dungeon, and summon other members is a balanced take on forming a party for dungeon run. It's not drop-in/out like WotLK dungeon finder spam, and you still need to travel the world to get there (and afterwards, you need to find your own way home).

Is this something that the community and devs would be interested in? Would love to see it on the roadmap if so.

A big part of what makes the world feel alive (and World PvP work) is the necessity for players to be out in it. It really is not so much of an inconvenience for players to spend 5 to 10 minutes pre-dungeon travelling provided they haven't set their Hearthstone nearby.

It also leads to a greater amount of players idling in capital cities and less reliance upon one's own guildmembers when travel to any single dungeon is as simple as just having 2 people at the entrance, often even just a single person as they will just borrow another player waiting outside the instance and have them aid in summoning.

The argument ought not be for making teleportation more easily accessible, it should be for revaluating the existing travel paths.

Good points - I hadn't considered world PvP (I only figured out Warmode last night, very cool), and yes a flight path audit would be a good idea for any problematic places.

I got to agree with the meeting stones to summoning stones. I think it was a good addition, and really speeds up the dungeon run by getting people there quicker. I for one would love to see that implemented.

I logged in just to say i do NOT support this heavily. No summoning per Summoning stones use Warlocks. Thats the benefit of a warlock.

Use your feet and move. Movement is life. No tp for meeting stones.
