Introducing the OctoWoW Press Pass!

CALLING ALL CONTENT CREATORS


As our humble server continues to grow in size, we have decided to introduce a handful of 'press passes' to video content creators. These passes will essentially be a spectator account which you can use to spectate events or get cinematic shots for content creation. These accounts will have access to a small handful of GM commands such as teleportation and flight. We will be monitoring these accounts to prevent abuse from happening as well. If you would like to apply for one please post a link to your OctoWoW (or previous pserver) content below. We will be reviewing all submissions and picking some of you to receive these passes to assist in your content creation!

When replying please structure your application as follows:

• [Channel Name]
• Link to a video
• Type of content you create (Technical, lets play, pvp, RP, lore deepdives etc..)
• Small introduction about yourself and your content! How did you get into content creation? What are your plans for OctoWoW? Anything really

As mentioned above these accounts will be monitored and any instances of abusing this privilege will result in immediate termination of your press pass. We hope this is something that will help us see some amazing content creation come from the server and we're here to help in any way that we can!

I'm from the UK play came to Octo after T-wow shut and awaiting PvP server release played WoW forever have a good idea what people like to watch, This channel is one I plan to use this time around pushing some content and events we plan as a guild or server. I claim to be the best content creator and personally haven't done it on a major scale but we have people in guild who have been very successful in this area.

When I have an idea I run with it, What I've made previously has been enjoyed by the people I share it with. I have a good sense of humour take nothing to heart. I come with the guild ERROR between us we have a vast range of players who have skills in video creation, programming etc.

Plans for OctoWoW are to again push ERROR to be the best guild on the server both in PvE and PvP. Providing the community with insight and guides to help the server establish and become a stable home. Would like to share the journey this time around more with videos uploaded from ERROR lads.

Just a working dad that enjoy the easygoing criteria of Octo (ex turtle). I stream for fun and like the legacy of this server so I will try to keep streams as active as possible.
I am from Italy, speak 3 languages and mostly play for fun. I am cool headed and very partecipative.

Hey everyone! I'm Catbeau, or Beau. I'm a content creator who loves exploring World of Warcraft, especially through first-time adventures and lore-focused videos. My goal is to experience all of Azeroth, including the amazing custom content that Turtle WoW has created, while sharing the stories, history, and hidden details behind each dungeon and zone. The reason I'm making videos on this server specifically is because I absolutely love the community. Every person I've interacted with on OctoWoW has been incredibly welcoming and friendly. Before I started playing, I always thought Retail WoW was the better version, but after putting around 130 hours into my Priest, I completely fell in love with Classic and everything this server has to offer. I could probably sit here and list a hundred reasons why I enjoy this game and server, but I think this introduction is getting a little too long already haha.

On TurtleWoW, I recorded videos about sneaking into Stormwind to PvP (and kill the bread merchant) while also participating heavily in world PvP events and often posting videos about that as well.

I've already recorded some content on OctoWoW and as I level, plan to continue doing so and eventually start posting about my activity on the server.

Having a press pass would be immensely helpful for recording PvP and world events and I would love to help promote Octo and bring in some more players to the new PvP server. Thanks!
