Poll: How should open world boosting be treated (on the non-hardcore servers)

Leave it as is.

A mechanic that magically removes level 60 mob tag boosting would be great assuming no side affects.

I'm in the minority, but, I think absolutely no boosting should be allowed. How that is implemented and enforced is a completely other question though.

It's fun to help friends and/or optimize leveling. If it gives them a bit of an edge in their leveling speed through gear, enchants, buffs, heals, etc. that's nice.

The problems are the egregious XP/hour cases like mob tagging where you're leveling 300%+ faster than you usually would, completely overshadowing any form of regular play and is completely antithetical to what vanilla is all about.

I'm glad to see you guys wanting to protect the integrity of the essence of the game via mechanics changes (nerf mob tagging and other egregious cases into the ground). It's much better than leaving players in a grey area where they're not sure if what they're doing is right or wrong by doing "regular" stuff like running a friend through Deadmines to get Cruel Barb or whatever.

Obviously the people most upset by the change are here on the forums voting, so that skews the poll results as well. In fact, I would argue a ton of people aren't even aware there even was a rule change at all.

Thank you for having the long term health and integrity of the server at heart despite the short term uproar that nerfs inevitably cause.

Americans literally cannot accept that a majority disagrees with them.

Ofcourse the poll is skewed, as my opinion is the only one that matters!

Clown attitude.

There is a fact that most of us have played this game for 10-20 years. Some enjoy long journey while leveling, but most are here mainly for lvl 60 gameplay. For the latter this long way till 60 is nothing more than obstruction.
This is why on TA we had x2 xp rates on the PVP server for those who want to play on 60 faster, and multiple challenges with bonuses for those, who are here for the leveling. Also this is why boosting was fine for the most cases.

You don't think people in favor of boosting are more likely to have multiple accounts?

112 votes out of tens of thousands of accounts tells us basically nothing of the general opinion.

If people would care enough about this topic they would come to the forum and vote so basically it does speak for the people who care.
