To the people of this new world,
Let it be known that Valor remains.
Scattered, perhaps. Delayed, certainly. Inconveniently thrown across worlds by forces I am told are “beyond mortal control.”
But not broken.
Until the others return, I have been charged with keeping the name of Valor intact, upright, and properly feared. This means two things.
First: those who stood with Valor before are remembered.
Second: those who wish to stand with Valor now may present themselves.
Do not mistake this for begging.
Valor is not looking for warm bodies with weapons. The world already has plenty of those, and most of them are only useful as warnings to others.
We seek people with nerve, competence, loyalty, and enough self-awareness to know what they are. Fighters, crafters, scoundrels, wanderers, hunters, spell-slingers, shield-bearers, healers, and whatever it is mages call themselves when they are not drinking water.
If you are useful, loyal, and capable of standing with your guild when things become inconvenient, you may have a place.
If you are looking for a banner to hide behind, keep walking.
If you are looking for a family that will remember your name, avenge your death, mock your mistakes, and gut anyone foolish enough to think you stand alone, then speak.
Valor does not require perfection.
It requires loyalty.
The rest can be sharpened.
Find Jape, Trocan, or Ungoro if you wish to be considered. Bring your name, your trade, your blade, your bow, your spells, your coin, or at minimum a convincing reason why you are not a waste of boots.
Friends of Valor will be welcomed.
Enemies of Valor will be remembered.
New blood will be tested.
Valor stands.
Try to be worth standing beside.
— Jape
