I logged off 3 days ago was just playing the game.

No multibox, no gold buying, all i made i made by myself, I'm a G and I work for my money.
Lvl 21, professions leveled up by myself, gear bought by myself, bags bought by myself.

You got smth against people making something of themselves by themselves?

Check the AH logs, you'll see all the money I made by myself and gear I made by myself.
All leveling made by myself.
Logged in during low player hours to get my tin in Westfall and my herbs.

What is this, the 2010 era of "anti online toxicity" movement all over again?

This is how internet chat used to be in the 2000s and everyone got along just fine.
We raided, we PVPed, we made connections outside the game and the chat used to be far more "impressive" than whatever I've typed.

"It takes a lot to be banned for nothing but chat violations".
This feels personal, I've seen other people type far worse things and get nothing but 3 day suspensions.
Where was the warning? Just out of the blue "i'm offended so I'll ban this person" kneejerk reaction?
Is that the level of "moderation" that you hold yourselves to?

The ignore feature is there for all to use, since believe it or not a lot of us have a lot of fun "harassing" each other in chat this way and get a big old laugh out of it.

I've helped a lot of people with quests, resurrections, directions and monetarily, in TWOW since here I haven't amassed wealth yet.
Where does the actual community support side of a player weigh in your senseless decision?

WoW was one of the first online game that started having heavy moderation yes.
And we hated it.
It got so bad on some servers that just saying "fuck" in trade chat would get you a "reported" whisper followed by a 1 day chat silence.

By the time end of BC / start of WOTLK, people had had so much of this censorship bullshit that they were openly swearing and cussing in chat regardless of the consequences.
We would make fun of people who reported us to the point where I think the mods gave up.

At some point on our server they banned like a quarter of the highest raiding guild in the world that later opened the gates of AQ first (Medivh, Fury, Kalahad etc, ancient history....), because during high peak times they would shit talk trade chat in mocking "protest", if you want to call it that.
For us it was just laughing at a dumb system in a fucking WARCRAFT game. There had been none of this shit in WC3, where the trash talking was glorious, same as SC1, D2, Ultima, CS, Everquest...you name it.

They made a thread on the forums which even though we didn't have upvotes at the time, was positively received by pretty much the entire community so much so that in typical Blizzard fashion....they closed it.
Unfortunately it's on the old forums that don't exist no more so I can't find it.
But I'm sure someone took note, since not long after those times there you wouldn't hear of shit like this happening anymore.

Shortly after the thunderfury, anal and other fun spams followed along. Legendary copy pastas were born.
Trash talking on PVP servers such as Bleeding Hollow were legendary, matched only by the events which spurred them.
The Enclave, Ascension, Chaosmage....legends all.

World of Warcraft had been averted, at least for a while, from becoming the world of sterilized peacecraft bullshit it's become today.

The kind of moderation you do here is openly mocked every day, in your chat.
It's mocked privately in guilds and in whispers.
Nobody genuinely respects pig or any of you when you say cringeworthy shit like "you're paragons of justice" or that "you put up with so much". The only people who kiss your ass are the people who want something from you: buffs, perks, free shit et al.
You don't bring anything to the community by censoring them for shittalking each other or god forbid, mentioning something about trump or israel or the hypocritical status of our world.

You think that by silencing people who say things you don't like or don't agree with you're making this a better community. You're not. A person's ability at talking shit is not proportional to their quality as a member of the community, be it in raiding, dungeons, guild leadership or just overall helpfulness on a server.

Some of what you'd call the most "horrible" people are some of the greatest and known leaders in PVP and PVE that WoW has ever known.
The idea what "talking shit" makes someone banworthy is akin to going into the army and crying that your drill instructor is reducing your personality to mince meat via verbal abuse the like of which you couldn't imagine.

Grow a fucking spine, allow the chat to grow organically and you'll see how much faster and better this server grows. Even TWOW mods gave up on that shit when they realized how much it killed the community vibe.

Silence the racial slurs and extremes if you must, ban them for a month if they continue to make a point.
Otherwise leave the fucking community alone, you're not doing yourselves any favors trying to sterilize the world into another version of retail.
