In the spirit of community, I ask that you impose a 100% TAX on ALL RENDERED GOODS AND SERVICES to LEVIA members.

My thought process and reasoning is very simple:

Their highly profitable AH manipulation, world boss mafia, and profession/resource guarding surely has fattened their coffers at the expense of YOU the player because they want to zugzug so bad, we shall ZUGZUG their pockets.

If your summons are 5g, they are now $10g for <LEVIA> members. Full stop.

REJECT SLOP, EMBRACE TRADITION. THEY WILL CRY AS WE BLEED THEM DRY. WHATS A MAFIA TO A COMMUNITY?

oh wow, good thing i've never used your summoning services. trust me i cry every time i have to fly somewhere and leave my computer for a couple minutes to do stuff.

also getting tired of people crying about world bosses. we leave them up for days sometimes and nobody else kills them. doesn't seem like people are clamoring to actually do the thing, just whine incessantly.

the "AH manipulation" is one guy in our guild who tried it and failed. basically bought a bunch of stuff (i think black lotus?) at way over cost that he will have to sell for a loss. if anything he gave the server free money for a bit haha. but we talked about it in general, so cake/rae mentions it in her DM and icantkite then parrots the DM and now it's server canon that we control the market or something. most of us hate the market because it feels like nothing ever sells.

no idea where the profession/resource guarding thing came up, unless it's just the same thing as the AH manipulation thing? the only thing we're guarding is world bosses and i'd say somewhat loosely at that. once the summonable world boss items come out it won't be an issue and we'll be able to actually schedule killing them instead of "whenever they pop back into existence offset by who's awake at 3AM"

Controlling a market is totally normal in classic wow - its how we paid for our guild bank and 3 tabs in it already. we use the eyes of shadow to do that on top of high end crafts that we do sell to the public but at a premium. we all agreed as a guild to gate keep recipes to drive the prices up so we all could make money. is it scummy, maybe, but that's something i am OK with. I come from a game that gatekeeping and controlling resources is king and i bring that mentality to WoW for better or worse."

Again, reuttering the comments and remarks of GAMEMASTERS justifying what is/isnt fair play, while confirmed having a pocket GM who had to step down in regards to actions in association with your guild is rather.. ironic and only drives home my point.

We are all aware of what is considered fair play.

This thread isnt a place to fight for your innocence or try to sway public opinion, the tax is ALREADY IN EFFECT. We have sent correspondence to the various summoner cartels, and players to up prices specifically for YOUR GUILD NOW.

This topic will reopen next week as we evaluate whether or not to raise or cut points.
