Looks like I'm with the minority here, but imo xp is fine like it is. I enjoy the journey, even with s&s, so I think it's fast enough.
Also I do not understand the "level up to pvp" argument at all. Some of my most fun and memorable pvp moments came from before reaching 60 on twow.
I had an awesome 2v3 in Ashenvale around Lvl 20, an epic duel against a warlock in Tanaris, killed one and escaped the other when getting ganked by 2 rouges in STV. I had pvp moments I like to remember from lvl 60 as well, but they do not have quite the epic feel as the below 60 experiences do. In that light, I am personally happy with having to level up 30% slower.
Look at the population. Look at how bgs proc.
They only happen on the bracket where the first main wave of levelers currently is. It's 40-49 for now, end of last week it was 30-39. When these people finish leveling, some bgs will start happening on lvl 60, but there will be no bgs on lower lvls.
Also I don't see how x2 rate will negatively affect the chance of meeting enemy players in the open world. They will spend slightly less time questing, but it's not like they will all get to 60 instantly, it's still 2-3 weeks of leveling from 1 to 60 on x2 rate
