Nerf shamans in PVP

My suggestion is to nerf shamans in PVP.
They are very tanky, they use instant shocks mostly so no way to interrupt, they frost shock enemy player so he cannot escape, reach and burst him down.
I would like if devs gathered some BG attendance and perfomance statistics on the PVP server and do some changes to this OP class.
I will try to help them by putting screenshots to this thread

True. Shaman and Paladin are very good classes here because back on Turtle WoW devs lifted their damage to be on pair with other classes in raiding.

However, this change was made with raiding and PvE environment on mind. In PvP it's another thing because these classes have already been tanky. Now they are also able to deal as much damage as purely dps classes. Combine high stamina pool, heavy armor and big damage to create ideal hybrid.

BTW, I think that Shaman is superior to other classes especially in 50-59 bracket. It was the case on Ambershire, it's also a case on Octo. I don't know if Octo WoW plans to introduce CC3 (or they stay with this state of class changes) but if so, this problem should be addressed.
The devil is in the detail.

You are, obviously, playing against some pre-made.
Today i play few ab on 60, and i was the only shaman whole time. But there were plenty of paladins.
Tip for frost shock - use insygnia (yes in pvp you need to have it).

Try to face 60% of warriors on enemy team, and eat all those charges 8-)
(Warrior is most popular class)

We do not have any pvp balance in 1.18, slightly better than it was in 1.17.x

I have it from like lvl 30. It got a 3 min cd, and is on cd almost all the time. Especially vs 8 shamans. It's a tip for a duel with full cds, but it does not solve anything in this case.

Not even half as bad as shamans. Warriors are way easier to get rid of, and they got no spelldmg instant casts.

Nerf shamans tankiness and we will be closer to the pvp balance than we are now

I think he's specifically talking about the Shocktanks which are impossible for any melee in the game to kill

Paladins and Shaman are both busted because they were already decent PVP classes and then they got buffed for PvE reasons, so they became way stronger than they should be.

Dispel shocks and ghost wolf, kill totems, burn mana, kick any nature spell to lock out healing, slow and kite outside of shock range, free action potion...

Frost reflector trinket will wreck plenty of shamans on its own as well.

Yeah spend 10 seconds dispelling buffs and killing Totems doing 0 dmg to the Shaman while the Shaman chunks you for 50% of your HP with a melee.
