Problem with the Launcher Overwriting Config.wtf

I have a 4K monitor, and I set the Multisample graphics option to 1 because at this resolution there's no real benefit to using a higher value. However, the OctoWoW Launcher forces it back to 8 every time by writing SET gxMultisample "8" to the Config.wtf file.

How can I prevent the launcher from overriding this setting?

Find your config.wtf file in the "WTF" folder, right click it, then select properties. Look towards the bottom and check the "read only" after adding your setting

Unfortunately, that doesn't work. The launcher automatically clears flag.

You just have to reapply your settings and set it back to read-only every time you restart the launcher (only use it to update the game). If you have VanillaFixes, launch the game through it, otherwise use WoW.exe, so your settings don't get reset
