24hr Mute for Spam?

Was listening to Booty Bay Pirate Radio and some song about transforming J(e)ws and fish came on. DJ told players to go neurotic in chat, so I went, "JEW FISH! JEW FISH! JEW FISH!" a bunch of times. Ended up getting muted for 24hrs? Meanwhile others were spamming "NANANANANANNA."

Some GMs are on a complete power trip currently in world chat.

I got muted for more than 12 hours just because we were discussing asmongold. Not in a racist way or anything.
Just a regular discussion (for world chat standards of course). I was warned to stop with the negativity (what ever that means) and in WC the GM also mentioned something about "far right".

Imagine getting your liberal ego hurt just because some players talk about one of the most popular WoW streamer on the planet that just so happens to not support your political orientation and world view...

Kestrel you really have to get this bs under control. It's worse than retail/classic or what we had in TWoW. I completely understand muting people for being racists or very rude in WC but this is just not ok.

You have to constantly walk on egg shells at the moment! Any topic against the personal taste of a GM can lead to a mute or worse. And leaving WC takes a away a big social aspect of this privat server. You also need it constantly for building groups and more.

@Uggerbugger: I didn't know the lyrics were "Transforming the tunes." I do unfortunately have hearing problems so I now realize what the guy said wasn't "Jews." I seriously did not mean anything antagonizing by "Jew fish," as I literally thought the song was just nonsense and aimed to repeat it.

Oh, so it's the two guys who came to cry on Discord about getting muted by the mean GMs! You guys really won't drop it over a simple mute... At least now you can focus on the game instead of spamming borderline stuff in World chat

What you meant does not really matter, anyone who took a history lesson the last 100 years knows you are dipping your feet in muddy water. As a fellow player tired of a kindergarden world chat I can only agree with your mute.
