High Elves and Goblins are both part of Classic Warcraft yes, and just weren't previously playable. Remember the goblins that you saw manning the Zeppelin towers, or the High Elves sprinkled throughout the Alliance zones in the world, like Loch Modan? Turtle understood the difference between giving us access to things that belonged, and were already present in the game world, and creating novel things that disrupt the tone of the setting.

Nonsense! If an artist has painted a picture and it has been a classic for many years, and you come and paint something of your own on it, it will not be a classic picture, it will be a different picture, just like here.

Then we have to add the Vorgens and Draenei, because they were also there, but you couldn't play them.

I cited goblins that are clearly already in the Horde and high elves that were clearly already in the Alliance...maybe you would enjoy a Cataclysm Classic server, or retail better? Everyone here is here because they liked what Turtle was doing which is in stark contrast to what you're suggesting.

Agreed, no to both, both would ruin lore and that needs to be sacred for Mysteries of Azeroth ! :-)

Paladins and Shaman being faction exclusive is a very deliberate part of the Classic experience, and Turtle not adding them after all this time wasn't a mistake or oversight.
