Donation Shop Overpriced

This is just my opinion, but the euro conversion to coins feels pretty steep for what you actually get. I understand the server needs funding, and I want to support the project, but pricing matters when it comes to getting players to consistently spend money rather than just once.

Right now it feels less like “supporting the server” and more like being priced out of participating in the shop. I honestly think lower prices or slightly better coin value would encourage more people to buy regularly, which could end up being healthier for the server long-term.

I’m not asking for everything to be cheap, but the current conversion just feels hard to justify as an average player.

Currently we are a bit limited in payment options, and we do know that crypto has some additional transaction fees, but we have not updated the shot prices from the leaked client that we got. We would be happy to revisit some of the prices on items if they have been changed in Turtle 1.18.1 but have a lot on our plate at the moment. We also will be opening other avenues of donations in the future beyond just crypto.

There are some international institutions that accept traditional payment methods. From there funds can be used to purchase cryptocurrency and be anonymized in a more secure way.

I feel like a sale with between 20-50% would be great during beta. I'd love to support the project, but looking at the prices in the store i just feel everything is kinda overpriced atm for being in beta and all. I bet more people would consider investing a bit if there was a sale on.

Them when it was a x2 promotion for donations but while I wouldn’t mind a decrease in shop items it’s the same as turtle wow

I don't think it's overpriced. It's about what turtle wow charged for (maybe a little more expensive due to bitcoin fees). They need the money and even if more were to be bought at a lower price, these things you buy in the game should be exclusive and not overbought. They also protect the value of the same items you can buy with gold in the game.
