Character Extract Feature

We are excited to announce the beta version of our character export feature!

In the spirit of supporting open source projects and making good on our promise to ensure that the characters you create here will always be safe, you may now export your in game OctoWoW character data to download locally. This will allow OctoWoW players to import their OctoWoW characters into any open source or custom project to run locally on their own machine/servers.

In order to access and download your character extracts, you can go to octowow.st, sign in, and then navigate to the account management -> Characters page and click the export button. From there a a zip file will be downloaded that contains the character data and information on how to use it.

If you have any issues with this feature, please open a report on the bug tracker or DM me on the forums.

whenever i try. I got 404 error. So it doesnt work for me others in guild also

Looks like we had a bug for those using different languages on the website for this feature. Should be resolved in the next 30 ish minutes!

Nope still 404 errors, same with unstuck

Getting the same error also, using duckduckgo with no language converter;)

Looks like we only tested this with HC realm extracts

Getting that fixed for other realms shortly!
