Server updates without launcher

Hello, i downloaded octo from a torrent post posted here, since i cant open the launcher duo to a bios issue, I was wondering if the updates come autocatically or if a have to find a way to manually download them since i made the install from a torrent link, thanks

The 1.21 client has a native updater baked into it and should download client updates without the launcher. I have not and do not use the launcher and have never had issues. This worked the same on TWoW.
