Nerf shamans in PVP

Shamans are tanky not just because of gear, but because of those ench talents in the beginning of the ench tree. And they still are able to nuke enemy with shocks, they crit very hard for an instant cast from a tank. And at the same time they hit you in melee stronger than a warrior.
I honestly do not care of retri paladins being OP on the PVE realm. Make a thread about it if you need them to be nerfed too, I'm fine with that. Maybe more paladins will go holy after the nerfs, so it will be a good change.
But this thread is about shamans being unkillable tanks while hitting like real life tanks.

Spellhance with tank gear does like 4k damage in 1.5s in pvp by using shock+rightclick, its the only spec thats actually broken af, from my xp the resto/ele/enha players are not that OP.

There should be massive dampening on attack riders and procs, maybe even a cap on how much they can do in pvp.

There is no skill involved in right clicking a pvp target and doing 2k damage, 1.5k of which are ONLY riders like frostbrand and lightning shield procs and shit.

This... no one is asking for a global shaman nerf — this stupid unkillable Shocktank needs to be nerfed; they hit you harder than you hit them and when you hit them you also take damage making them nigh unkillable for most melee classes. Unlike Retpals they also have very high levels of spellpower/healing which makes them able to heal themselves and others far more efficiently than any Retpal could ever.

Outside they're perfectly fine & killable ; with the overtuned PvP dampening for shamans in BG's they are almost impossible to kill.

Resto/Elemental are more than fine.

Don't confuse people asking for this specific nerf — which is what is asked — with nerfing all shamans

I'm showing devs that there is a problem with shamans being too OP in PVP, and I will continue doing so. I'm far from the only one who thinks so, cause other ppl tell the same thing in this thread, and many more who do not visit the forum.
It's you who are trying to disregard our view, and I wonder why are you so invested in this matter

Are you talking about 5% extra value from stats? Or increased block chance with shields? Our good tanky talents are farther down the tree. Honestly, it sounds like your gear might just be bad. Same with the other complainers above. Get your full PVP set and then come back. I get destroyed by dedicated melee classes and casters alike if they know what they're doing.

Also, tanky spellhance isn't even a thing yet, the gear to support that comes in later tiers...I think some of you are just hallucinating at this point.
