Twinks ruin PvP

BGs aren't enjoyable when some fully kitted out twink with mongoose elixir on can 3shot you and only die 3 times in entire bg while using lips etc. Can't do anything about them but I wanted to rant (also fuck druids).

It is much fun to "twink" your character a bit while levelling.
You can do it through enchants, good gear for your pvp bracket (some +stam greens will work well), putting armor kits, getting pots through AH.
Doing this basic stuff will make you much stronger and more capable in pvp.

My only char is levelled 19 on this server, and i tuned him myself so hard, it is fully capable of 1on1 real twinks, with BOEs and endgame enchants.
Currently ~1500 honor and rank 3 (max one on lvl 19).

There is unfortunately no solution to this other than skipping PvP until 60s where everyone will start from the same playing level. I've seen plenty of people falsely luring people into 30-39 BGs, promising them fast leveling, while having 4.00 speed crusader enchanted 2H axe as an enhancement shaman themselves.

There's no point arguing with them either. This is a settled debate. People who actually want to play PvP, they do it at 60. There's only 2 group of people PvP'ing below 60: Twinks who claim they enjoy a specific range of BG while in reality all they do is crush people 9 levels below them who can't even hit them, and normal people who like PvP for the sake of it and those who want to level up fast. You can make it harder for people to twink, but you can't stop them. A reminder to people that when Blizzard added twink only BGs, it instantly died LMAO, we all know why you want to twink.

Grit your teeth and reach 60 where everyone has an equal chance of hitting other players or having their spells resisted. Not every <60 BG is infested with twinks, and you can definitely have enjoyable matches, but this very vocal minority will ruin it for the rest of playerbase. This was also a problem on Turtle.

Fact is, you cannot twink if new to the server, have no alts, still trying to level.

The fact is, twinks are made to bully other players, NOT to fight other twinks.

Blizzard proved this when they made a twink only BG, twinks vanished over a week, no one twinked any more. Sadly Blizz, removed this, and tada twinks were back.

I still think, those that turn off XP, camp a top end of their bracket and farm lowbies are noting else then online bullies, who probably get bullied in their life, so need revenge somehow.

To me, twinking is like a cancer, will never go away, and just destroys the will to BG (Yes I will use the word Cancer, as I have had it, and went through it)

When someone abuses the lv39 meta to bully you, you can fight back the same way. I've already built a level 39 def pala to counter the shamans, warriors, rogues and hunters(sometimes, depends on what obstacles can be used). now, when the kind of shamans you mentioned see me defending the flag, they just quietly walk away.

If your response to something you think is unfair is to complain or run away instead of using your brain to fight back, then all you deserve is to lose.

Nope, I only have two characters, and they're both level 39 now. Why do I need to get a level 60 first? I'll level up when I get bored.

To be honest, I don't think I'll ever level to 60. The endgame feels too formulaic, and it just isn't fun to me.

Why? Because raiding at level 60 is something I really dislike. I don't enjoy reading guides before I even play, and I don't enjoy listening to people explain every mechanic during a raid. It completely ruins the sense of immersion.

Unfortunately, the game is simply too old. Some players have done it countless times already, while others just want to rush through everything. Putting together a full 40-man progression raid where everyone is learning from scratch is basically impossible.

And if you think you can jump into level 60 battlegrounds without raid gear... well, good luck. You'll get bullied there too—probably even worse than in the lower-level brackets. You'll keep getting stomped until you've farmed enough PvP gear. And by the time you finally have it, you'll be the one doing the stomping.

Don't pretend this game's PvP is some kind of noble, perfectly fair competition. Knowledge, preparation, and what you do before the match are all part of PvP. If you're looking for a truly fair competitive game, go play dota or street fighter instead

At 39 you CANNOT save enough gold to get the HP to head, the gems, the top enchants etc, so no, not twinking

At level 39, you will face players below your level ranging from 30 to 38. These players have a lower chance of hitting you and a higher chance of their spells being resisted by you. Two different characters both equipped with same equipment, but with one of them at 30 and the other at 39, the level 39 will win in most of the cases, even if the level 30 was more skilled. Twinks will say that everyone can farm gold or equipment in a given bracket but will never address this major issue giving them massive advantages. You will also never see someone twinking in a non X9 level. It's always 19, 29, 39, 49 or 59 to give themselves the most advantage possible. I have never seen someone twinking at level 35 for example, I wonder why.

You may find raiding boring, which is perfectly valid. You may want to keep playing the lower content, which the game lets you do so by locking your XP. I'm giving the twinks every benefit of the doubt here and assuming they argue in good faith (hint: they don't.) However, majority of the players you will be facing do not think the same way as you do, and for them, the game has a big goal of reaching 60 and PvP is either a goal at 60 to be pursued, or a side goal until 60. Battlegrounds currently give XP, meaning a lot of players who would not normally play PvP are incentivized to play PvP. A very large majority of them will not be X9 level, and at any giving point in game, you will have intrinsic advantages towards anyone who is below you in levels, simple as that.

This inherent advantage does not exist at 60 bracket. You may say that you can out-gear people at 60, but the same also applies to <60 PvP. Unlike <60 PvP, at level 60 everyone has the same chance of hitting and resisting things, and same base stats for their mana and HP.

Imagine playing some shooter game, but there's 30% chance that the bullets of your enemies can just disappear before hitting you for no reason and that you have 25% more HP than others. Everyone would think this is retarded and unfair, yet this is what twinks defend. You can pretend as much as you want, you don't want to play against other twinks, you enjoy lying to clueless new players and you enjoy stomping people who are at a serious disadvantage against you.

You will never be good at PvP.
