Remove pvp dampening in early phases

Greetings pvpers,

Why is pvp dampening still in effect?

Dampening was introduced to counter gear inflation entering BGS on twow in its final stages and some class balance attempt, alot of players were running 3.5 gear and op items like shieldrender trinket completely demolishing bgs before dampening. It was a lot better with dampening, but it wasent fully cooked.

For example hunter pets aren't dampened and do stupid amounts of damage, so are shamans they seemed unaffected by the dampening at all except they feel like you are hitting plate armor then they turn around and 1 shot you.

Since we are in the early phases of the server, i think it would be wise to remove the dampening at this stage.

I don't have a clear stance on whether dampening should be removed or not, but I know for sure that pets should not be excluded from dampening if everyone else has dampening. BM is incredibly strong at the moment and pets can hit plate+shield for 1100. I don't even know why pets don't have dampening when everyone else have it.

I think dampening should be removed. So should the healing dampening debuff.

Its only going to make balancing the OP stuff harder as we progress trough the phases.

just enjoy BG's before gear and power levels completely ruin them. it will quickly go downhill after BWL release. after that its a hybrid and warlock show.

Remove dampening (for now) sounds great actually, I might actually play more higher end BGs if this gets changed.

Aren't people wanting faster queue's?

Yeaaaah it doesn't really make sense for Dampening to exist when the damage is this high.

Most healers ( apart from Paladins lul ) don't last that long until they OOM anyway
