It's time we talk about the truly important issues that affect players - even the Horde, despitethis is mostly an Alliance problem.
Namely: the benches only have one seat:
Meanwhile, over in the Stormwind Keep library, there are perfectly good benches that seat two people:
So why are the ones outside limited to a single lonely spot? You sit down, maybe with a friend or a random passer-by, and suddenly one of you is left standing there like an awkward third wheel. It’s a small thing, but it adds up!
And while we’re on the subject of basic comforts - has anyone noticed the complete lack of fireplaces in the Trade District? The Mage Quarter has them, the Dwarven District has them, even some of the quieter corners of Old Town manage a warm hearth. But the Trade District? Cold stone, cold air, and nothing to cook your food or warm your hands (hips) by after a long day of sitting on cold stone bench. It’s almost as if the city planners decided that commerce and comfort are mutually exclusive.
Something irreversible could happen...
This isn’t just about benches and fireplaces, of course. It’s about the broader question of urban design in our capital. Stormwind is supposed to be the jewel of the Alliance, a place where citizens and visitors alike can feel at home. Yet we still have these little gaps in the infrastructure that make daily life just a bit less pleasant than it could be. A second seat on a bench here, a fireplace there - these are the quiet improvements that turn a city from "impressive" into "actually livable".
I think it’s high time we took a proper look at the capital’s amenities and made the place more comfortable for everyone - residents and guests alike.
TL;DR: replace old benches with two-seater benches.
