Update problem

when downloading the new patch it goes over 100% and afterwords it says it failes casue of it so you cant log in the game anymore.

I have the same issue. You can log in if you use WoW.exe instead of the launcher, but when I did my character list was completely empty. No idea what's going on.

Edit: Launcher issue should be fixed now. 14 hour rollback apparently.

So all your characters were deleted? Even those who were created more then 14 hours ago?

I was one of the new accounts, I had registered within the 14 hours. So any characters I made were deleted with the rollback. Thankfully didn't lose too much though
