Hell ooctopus WoW community and GM team,

I am creating this discussion thread following GM instructions, regarding the suspension of my set of guild‑storage alt accounts on the Hardcore server.

To give clear context of why these accounts were created:
The game does have a guild‑bank system, but it can only be accessed by max‑level characters. New low‑level guild recruits cannot deposit or withdraw anything from it. Under Hardcore trading level‑gap restrictions, max‑level characters also cannot directly hand over bags, low‑level gear and crafting supplies to brand‑new level‑1 players.

Therefore, we rely on separate low‑level alt accounts as our community storage. These accounts hold low‑level crafting materials, bags and low‑grade gear donated by guild members. All of these items are saved as welfare to give out to new guild members.
Every item was transferred strictly following server rules: goods were mailed step‑by‑step within the allowed 5‑level increments. There was no rule‑breaking cross‑level trading. There are no bots, no real‑money trading, and no profit‑driven gold farming.

What triggered the security alert:
Out of these dozens of accounts, the majority were multi‑opened. I logged in, created level‑1 tauren characters and logged off immediately with no further in‑game actions. These characters were intended to serve as future guild storage. This bulk multi‑session activity triggered the server’s anti‑studio detection system. I understand this behaviour appears suspicious from an anti‑bot perspective.

Most importantly:
A small number of accounts within this same named sequence were **never logged‑in at all**. Some of them are completely empty accounts with zero characters ever created. They performed zero actions of any kind, yet they still got suspended purely through automated cluster detection, only because they share a similar sequential naming pattern with the accounts I operated.

I bring three points for community discussion:
1. For legitimate guild‑support players: should multi‑opening accounts purely to create idle level‑1 storage characters (no bots, no automation tools) receive some measure of leniency?
2. Is it appropriate for completely untouched, zero‑activity empty accounts — where not even a character was ever made — to receive identical suspension, only because other accounts in the same naming group performed suspicious activity?
3. I sincerely request the GM team perform manual, account‑by‑case review by checking server activity logs.

My formal appeal:
I am asking for one‑time leniency to lift these suspensions. I acknowledge that my bulk multi‑open operation was poor judgment and triggered security alarms.
If these accounts get restored:
‑ I will completely abandon sequential‑numbered naming for all future alt accounts.
‑ I will continue to fully respect every Hardcore server rule.
‑ I accept that any future problematic behaviour will result in immediate, permanent punishment for my accounts.

The complete list of affected account IDs will be submitted in a private support ticket.

If it is only a matter of creating some level-1 accounts, without any other violations, then forgiveness should be allowed, and we should even discuss whether to relax the management rules in this regard.

This isn’t just nonsense—hardcore mode locks players at level five, preventing them from accessing any benefits. Many newcomers can’t even gather enough equipment and simply give up. The guild gives us such generous benefits for free; we really appreciate it. Please, GM, show some mercy and let everyone live and play happily!

Well, at 1st lvl guild member don't need any materials. BS, LW and other crafters proffs can be obtained only at lvl 5. So just move your toons to capital city.

The only exception is characters being in Capital Cities (Stormwind, Orgrimmar, Thunder Bluff, Undercity, Ironforge, Darnassus, Alah'thalas) for the purpose of trading, professions, teleporting, crafting, and other interactions strictly between the multiboxed characters.

I mean yeah, it's little stupid that you can't play at main and loging at bank-toon for give/send something, but I understand this rules, cuz it's reduces need for manual checking. And relog and trade also take 2 min. So if you really not goldseller/booster, I think they can give your accs back, just need to move toons to capital. Not sure for what you created account w/o toons... But it's not violation.

After further research we can corroborate your story/claims and confirm that nothing suspicious was occurring. These accounts should be unbanned now. Please be sure to move these alt/bank characters to the main capitol cities in order to prevent further issues like this from arising.
