Warrior enrage procs with bloodthist

I remember in turtle wow as a fury warrior using bloodthirst and proccing enrage during crits, I see that it does not apply here in octo.

Here is what I have found in tutle wiki about the warrior class changes:

"Bloodthirst has been reworked to the following ability: Instantly perform a reckless attack dealing X damage plus 30% attack power, and you suffer a self-inflicted wound for your recklessness.

Damage Values: Rank 1 (Level 40/Talent): 80 Flat Damage Rank 2 (Level 48): 100 Flat Damage Rank 3 (Level 56): 120 Flat Damage Rank 4 (Level 60): 150 Flat Damage Developer Comment: This self-harm does half the base damage, half the scaling and takes your armor damage reduction into account. This self damage can critically strike you and proc Enrage, this chance is equal to your physical critical strike chance."

This was in the game after class changes 2, but then reworked because it was overpowered in some respects and not functioning properly in others. It made fury warrior DPS insanely RNG-dependent and disconnecting their damage from their skill, with top DPS hitting lucky jackpots and having near-100% enrage uptime on some days but absolute dumpster tier DPS on others when it procced rarely. As the exact same player with the exact same gear and the same performance.

You now use Bloodrage to self-proc enrage, and it's guaranteed to "self-crit" you. Bloodrage is thus used in the last stages of a fight to get Enrage up alongside things like Death Wish and trinkets.
