The increased xp rate was exactly the reason why I stopped playing on TA despite being a pvp server fan. I really hope all servers will share the same rates.

If you played on a cross faction pve server rather than a pvp server over 2x xp rate, you don't like pvp servers. People that play on pvp servers do it exclusively. A fan? Lol...Go hold hands with some Paladins

From my perspective, a pvp server with no one in the leveling zones or in the pre-60 brackets loses a lot of its appeal. I've been playing wpvp since vanilla launched, so I know what I want without you having to explain it to me. What’s more, it seems that the increased rates tend to attract an audience of people like you. So that’s one more reason to look elsewhere.

Non-60/non-19 BG brackets are something that I've seen a fair number of people express interest in, because the additions and changes to the game dramatically revise how these work. The space is ripe for exploration, but nobody really touched them to my knowledge.
WPvP also is something that vanilla WoW has cemented in its memetic DNA, so a PvP server should not get in the way of this.

My thinking would be that instead of XP rates, there's something similar to the BG bonus rotation but for level brackets or specific WPvP zones. Auto-scheduled ahead of time so people could plan big events if they wanted, of course.

2x XP rates would kill the server. World PvP is the best aspect of PvP in Classic, no idea why anyone would want to limit that.

I like PvP servers because they're immersive. But I don't find 2X rates to be immersive. Didn't get to play TWoW but I know it had cross-faction slop on PvE realms, so I'd definitely take a PvP realm if only to stay away from that. Don't understand what the issue is that make players want to have 2X rates. World PvP happens at all stages of the game, not just at 60. The entire game is quite literally designed from a 1X rates philosophy, with a strong emphasis on faction conflict.

Seriously, don't listen to the snowflakes above claiming that players from Tel Abim desire x2 xp
"Carebears" and "Hydra" had ZERO pvp presence and struggled to clear BWL on a k40 progressed realm

IMHO, pvp realm should be x1 with no tents either, but all opinions are welcomed ofc
