Anyone with success story of Vagrant + Samurai?

Hey,

big fan of the challenge but I hit Lvl 44 now (Hunter) and I realized there's no real upgrade after the Frost TIger Blade. The main issue is that the Wicked Mithril Blades are Mainhand only. So the FTB is the better weapon. And basically all available weapons after this one are world drops or drop of a 51 or a 57 rare.

The issue here is that playing HC you don't have an AH and there's no way I'm attacking a 51/57 rare at my level. Up to this point, there was always something to go for, trade, collect, looking for crafters. But now I'm pretty much stuck with a Lvl 35 weapon until Lvl 60. That's fine, I can still do it, but it would be more fun to have i.e. a Level 50 craftable 2H where I can work for.

Just my 2 cents. Maybe a craftable "one hand" Katana at Lvl 50 that needs a good chunk of mats. Will also help Vagrant.

maybe a tweak for the challange: every 10 levels - get a basic katana (grey or white quality) via mail...? I think this would be a fast fix for all the issues

I started my journey earlier today with "Way of the Samurai", Vagrant and Craftmaster just to realise it's not possible? I mean makes sense it is supposed to very pretty hard journey but as of now we barely have any options, I'm supposed to play with my starter Bokken until level 18?

Honestly it feels like an amazing journey taking those 3 challenges, crafting your own gear, not being able to use powerful items etc... I guess I'll have to wait until more craftable white katanas are avaiable, otherwise it doesn't make much sense doing those 3, perhaps only Way of the Samurai by itself is the only option now

Based on the sheer views of this thread, it might be an idea to add some more poor/common katanas to the game.

Doing SnS/Exhaustion/Vagrant/Samurai/Boaring right now, so far no issues at level 13, but I'm a bit worried how 30+ will be if level 18 katanas are the last ones we get.
