Auction House?

I mean it's all HC so it would be nice if had the option to use the Auction House imo. Or at least open it up at 60 as there isn't really room for abuse at that point.

And there should be a new challenge called Self-Found Challenge (no mail, trading, or AH).

Here's my stance from leveling four HCs to 60 on Turtle and one so far on Octo.

I really like the five level trading gap. I feel its a very nice piece of 'flavor' for the HC server. It was a bit restrictive on Turtle but with Octo allowing you to mail COD in that 5 level gap in my eyes is perfect.

Yes an Auction House would be easier for trading but easier is what ruined World of Warcraft in my opinion. This forces people to interact with one another more. Even on Turtle where it was less forgiving due to needing to actually meet up with people, I really enjoyed that. It made the world feel more alive. I actually made a few friends that way.

If the Auction House could be made to work with that five level limit that would be one thing but I doubt that could be coded. Without that five level limit it will ultimately make Hardcore in my opinion significantly easier. You would have high level players selling cheap lower level gear. Enchanted gear. And while yes you can still have that happen with trade chains its less common and typically when that is happening its within a community like a guild which again reinforces those social interactions that I feel modern WoW destroyed.

I don't disagree. I think i think the restrictions on level interactions is an important part of the challenge. Which is why I think opening up at 60 is fair compromise. Just to make raid preparations more tolerable. I also think the self found or guild found wouldn't be bad challenge suggestions.
