Warmode /who change unintentionally made it much easier to find warmoders

Let me preface this by saying this is not a post trying to make war mode significantly easier, nor is it to cry about gankers, it's simply to correct a change from an earlier patch that had the opposite effect it intended. I actually think the people hunting warmoders are a crucial and inherent part of the challenge; without the hunters, warmode titles would have no value as it would not be a challenge.

However, a few weeks ago a change was made so that warmoders do not appear in the /who list to the other faction.

This was done with the intention to make it harder to find warmoders, but it actually did the opposite: it is trivially easier now to immediately detect any warmoders in a zone from anywhere on Azeroth with a simple /who, and this is exactly what the hunters are currently doing.

If you /who a zone with a character on both factions, you can immediately just cross reference the list. Any discrepancies in the list, where one character appears to one faction but not the other, are guaranteed to be warmoders. This was clearly not intentional and I don't think it was properly considered.

Either revert the change so warmode people appear the same as everyone else (so someone would still need to be nearby to confirm that someone is indeed pvp flagged), or make it so that players doing warmode do not show up in /who to anybody from either faction.

On a side note, I think making war mode harder to find and detect would actually be a win/win for both players and hunters. Not only would more people be encouraged to try war mode (thus giving more prey for the hunters), I think it'd actually be more fun and rewarding for the hunters to hunt down warmoders when it actually takes some effort and stalking.

It should not be as simple as /who Durotar on two characters at once, look at the discrepancies between the list, add them to your friends, and now you are tracking them forever. At the very least, you should need to have boots on the ground to check targets.
