Never.
Turtle had warnings that INACTIVE characters would be deleted, and players could simply reset the inactivity "countdown" by logging onto it.

I've got some level 1 characters that I am saving for once I finish leveling my Warrior. Once he's 60 I was thinking of jumping onto another character and continue the process.
It'd be kinda lame to log into my account and find my character list absent of characters because I focused on a singular character.

because the realms are not even 4 months old

They perma ban accounts, release those names. Give a warning when they plan to release inactive names.

Are you so lazy you cant log into a character to take off "inactive"?

4 months? new players joining and we get scrub names like " KILYAWONDAPET"

I would quit if my lvl 1 bank alts were suddenly deleted after a break from the game but forced name changes on lvl 1 characters after a year or two, that would be fair enough.

Do remember that happend on Turtle at some point, returned after a break and had to rename all my bankalts.
It was a non issue, but it was also quite far into the servers lifespan.

This server is far too young right now though imo.
