Download incomplete. Click update to finish.

Hello.

My client doesn't seem to want to update.
I keep clicking the update button, it starts thinking a little bit and then it says
"Download incomplete. Click update to finish."

This is a continuous loop.
Is there a simple way to fix this?

Issue resolved by itself for me

This issue seems to have resolved itself for me.
Not sure if that counts for everyone else.

Yea, it worked once. Then I tried to change the option in Tweaks to stop auto-looting on right click and it's back again.

This launcher is beyond frustrating. Please fix it.

I just deleted it. I have been trying for a week, and they don't seem to be in any hurry to address it.

When this happens the typical issue is your antivirus auto containing some files as soon as they are downloaded. Add your octowow folder to your windows defender exemption list to avoid this issue.

We are fairly limited in our options to avoid this as registering our application with Windows would expose us to Doxxing via Subpoena.
