Same. It's been a full month, this is beyond ridiculous. And situation seems to be adressed less and less by the day. Only conclusion that can be taken is that there's nothing they can do, so either play half the time with 300 ping or not be able to log in at all

Are we ever going to be able to play normally? It's getting ridiculous that the amount of time people spend in this server is half-playing and half waiting the whole day till the server finally lets you in, it's getting worrying and will end up making people just go to stable servers and this one will end up with hardly 500 players :/

I have a feeling I'm going to get yelled at, and I assume my suggestion has already been brought up, but wouldn't it be possible to go on the offensive rather than just defending ourselves? Since the DDoS protection apparently isn't working, maybe if Capy were hit with DDoS attacks for a month and the store's revenue started to drop, they'd be willing to negotiate?

I mean what the last update was a few days ago, there's not much to add. They've been communicating and explaining why there are delays. Trust me I understand it's frustrating.

And my ping has actually gone down, I used to be consistently 180-185 and now I'm down to 150. And I mean I'm West Coast NA, my ping *should* be bad. I'm not calling you a liar just saying, it's not the same scenario for everyone.

I've had *trouble* logging in, but every time I've tried to login over the past week I've been able to get in. Sometimes I have to login two or three times before it works, but I haven't had to load up a VPN or do anything fancy to get in.

For example right now is generally our "peak population" time. It's also Sunday which was always our highest pop day. I just tried logging in and got in first try, and there are 2897 people online.

So? it doesn't mean i can't be frustrated about not being able to play in the server. That has nothing to do with this :|

So, it's been a few days now since new solutions have been explored and implemented, new hardware installed, and the issue seems to have migrated from the realm server to the login servers (although with occasional massive bursts of lag). Either way, playing has become such a nuisance that it's hard to remain positive, at this point.

It'd be nice to see if Kestrel et al. are exploring any more options (just IF, you don't [and probably shouldn't] have to share what they are) are being explored and/or implemented to solve the server issues or if this is how things are from now on.

Please, at least give us some clear-cut communication on whether you have tried what you will try or if you are trying more stuff.

I don't understand what you guys are expecting? We have such a good server that we are experiencing attacks! We have an unpaid dev team that is working to fix it. They are working with different server infrastructure providers to find a solution.
Blizzard is a multi billion dollar company, who is probably attacking us.
Eventually this will stop or we find a solution. But complaining at the dev team is not fixing it. These are the guys who are on our side. We are all fighting blizz here. Let's be loving to one another.

i'm starting to think the limit of "clear communication" for most people is more than 32 hours between ddos threads. and that's being generous.

How do you propose to hit Blizzard with DDoS and what the hell does Capy have to do with this?
