On a sidenote, thank u for your hard work Kestrel and OctoTeam
Imo, you have already done more for the pvp realm than Turtle ever did
and let's not forget that Octo is f2p with optional donations

How are you gonna adress not having faction balance on pve realm if u merge qeues and remove xfaction? 2/3 of pve server is 1 faction, or the fact pve realm has aprox 15%? More stats while raiding getting free loot.
We are feeling out how the community feels about it not saying we are for sure doing it.
If we were to do it the faction balance of the BG Queues would change. The Horde on the PvP realm would suddenly get a lot quicker BG Queues. The PvE realm progression vs the PvP realm progression is of course a concern, hence why we are asking the players how they feel about it and if the trade off is worth it or not.
Like I said if you have another wording for the poll you think would be better I would genuinely like to hear it. Crafting unbiased polling questions that also give all necessary context is something people spend years perfecting it is a difficult thing to do.
The thing is that all the PVP players I know are fine with the idea of xserver bgs enabled while xfaction disabled. But there are details that we want to know before we can make a decision. The main concern is that the PVE server got 1572 alliance lvl 60 players and 931 horde lvl 60 players. If they all queue up without xfaction, alliance will have very long queues. Obviously adding current PVP server population will not help, as it is too low to change anything (147A to 186H).
If you make it like that, then horde on the PVP server will not only be more in numbers, but will also have way shorter queue timers, so it will dominate the server, and with time it may even become a monofaction server.
But also I think that probably not all the characters on the PVE server are actually getting into bgs. And the proportion may be different for different factions.
I think that to understand what we are getting into, we need more data.
Could you share statistics on how many alliance and horde players are joining bgs on the PVE server?
And on the polls wording:
The problem is not in how you phrase it, but in how much details you provide. Community is not informed well enough, and does not know even how it is going to look like. We may be up for the idea, but very much against some of the details or outcomes that can be predicted if we have the details.

Can't these servers' progression be synced in a matter of a month or two? OctoWoW is a very fresh server and the PvP realm is barely younger than the PvE realm. Thus eliminating this whole issue altogether.

So wil xrealm bg be only 1 qeue or wil pve have a seperate qeue next to xrealm with pvp?
My guess is that PvE X-faction BG and PvP/PvE-crossrealm BG are misalignment with each other, and are therefore mutually exclusive implementations.

Pve'ers get 15-20% more stats meaning ud have to remove pala and shaman buffs stacking else this issue is never gone

I see. Meaning if the PvE player is buffed pre-entering BG? What if outside and BG buffs are separate? Start off in BG with zero buffs, and when you exit BG the buffs you had before entering are waiting for you and restored?
I mean that seems like a non-problem that can and will be ironed out if this is implemented...

Given the most spicy topic here is clearly the BG EXP nerfs, our thoughts on this are simple. BG's should not award 50% more experience then all other forms of leveling.
Can you prove this claim with actual maths?
I find this whole complaining about BGs being too fast of an experience gain to be frankly a bit disingenuous, because all these wildly exaggerated claims assume 100% winrate
Yes and we did earlier in this thread where we shared the levels per hour rate of different leveling methods based on actual production data. None of our claims assumed a 100% winrate they all assumed a 50% winrate. They also excluded the warmode bonus.

That is a great question!
They are currently one vote per account (with characters that meet a level requirement. We are aware that many do have multiple accounts and have solutions for that long term via an account linkage tool. Unfortunately we don't feel it is polished enough yet to implement alongside the polling system. We determined that we are better off allowing multiple accounts owned by the same people to vote (we ran numbers estimating how much this would affect the polling) than we would be accidentally preventing some people from voting unfairly.
Thank you for that o7 hope that our future content is up to the communities standards despite the rocky road behind and ahead of us.

I can only speak from PvE realm perspective:
The introduction of crossfaction battlegrounds and experience gain in battlegrounds have been a MASSIVE win.
PvP has never been that healthy before on TurtleWoW as it is currently on Nzoth
Please be very careful not messing this up!

They can take 5-10less people every pve raid and get more loot while pvp gear wont be relevent till aq phase+ hard content is a pushover with those stats.
