Request for Reconsideration of Permanent Ban BLXShiva

Hello OctoWoW Team,

I am writing to appeal the permanent ban placed on my account.

I acknowledge that my account received gold through several unusual Auction House transactions involving items listed significantly above their normal market value. I understand why these transactions were flagged and why they may have appeared to be connected to real-money trading.

However, I would like to clarify that the gold was not purchased with real money. It came from gambling activity and the Auction House was used as the method for transferring the winnings to my account.

I accept responsibility for participating in these transactions, and I now understand that this method of transferring gold was against the server rules or, at the very least, created a transaction pattern that reasonably raised serious concerns.

I am not asking for the activity to be ignored. I respectfully ask you to review the case again and reconsider whether a permanent ban is necessary, particularly as the gold was not obtained through real-money trading.

This is my first offence, and I am fully willing to accept the removal of all gold, items, or benefits connected to these transactions. I would also accept a temporary suspension and a final warning, with the understanding that any future violation would result in a permanent ban.

I have invested considerable time into my account and genuinely enjoy playing on the server. I have also supported the project through donations because I value the server and wanted to contribute to its continuation.

I understand that donating does not excuse a rule violation or entitle me to special treatment. I mention it only to demonstrate that I genuinely care about the project and the community.

I regret using the Auction House in this way and assure you that nothing similar will happen again. I respectfully ask for one final opportunity to continue playing after an appropriate penalty.

Donations here are voluntary, not a form of "atonement," but purely out of a desire to help project (or a desire for comfort with 36-slot bags, but still voluntary). If you are buying gold you already don't care about project and community.
