Launcher error

after the update drop today 8/14/2026 I'm now getting the following error when I try to run the game ;

EPERM: operation not permitted, mkdir 'C:\'

any suggestions?

I fixed this error by changing the game directory. in the top right of the launcher under settings, it says you can change the directory to an old turtle wow file or WoW file, I chose my old turtle wow file and it works now *shrug*
