Recurring lag spikes affecting South American players / Requesting a routing check

I'm making this post to bring attention to the recurring lag spikes that South American players have been dealing with over the last few months on the server.

The day before yesterday, my level 43 hardcore character died solely due to a sudden lag spike. This isn't an isolated incident—I previously lost a level 33 character and another level 24 character to the exact same latency and routing issues. I know for a fact I'm not the only one from SA dealing with this, as several other players from the region have run into the exact same connection freezes lately.

Just to be clear, I'm not looking to appeal the level 43 death, but I do want to leave on record my dissatisfaction with these ongoing connection drops.

I’d like to politely request the Octo WoW team or network admins to review the routing and connection stability for South American traffic, and check if there's an ongoing ISP or peering issue affecting the region.

Broski, I played Turtle WoW for 2 years and never had these severe lag spikes. at totally random hours I get 5000 ms and can't even relog without a VPN, something that literally never happened on twow

Its not just you, its from EVERYWHERE. Look at the thread with german players, i feel it too. Its like a fucking lottery logging in. Sometimes its OK, ping is 60ish. You log to a alt and its 2000-10000.
