Hi! I’m trying to donate to OctoWoW using Strike from the EU, but I’ve run into a compliance issue.
When I scan the Bitcoin payment QR code, Strike asks me to identify who I’m sending the funds to and then requests the recipient’s first name, last name, and whether the wallet is a self-custody wallet or an exchange/platform.
Since OctoWoW’s donation wallets are anonymous, I don’t want to guess or enter false information and risk causing problems with my Strike account.
Could a GM/admin please confirm what information donors using Strike or other EU-regulated crypto services should enter for these fields? If there is no compatible beneficiary information available, is there an officially recommended alternative way to donate?
